Abstract

North Central Nigeria holds substantial potential for economic growth and development, yet various challenges hinder its progress, notably the absence of effective communication strategies. Effective communication is the cornerstone of fostering creativity and advancing development by facilitating idea-sharing, collaboration, and innovation. The paper titled "COMMUNICATION BUSINESS FOR CREATIVITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NORTH CENTRAL NIGERIA" delves into the pivotal role communication plays in enhancing creativity and fostering development within the region. This paper contends that an enhancement of communication practices among businesses can act as a catalyst for creativity, consequently contributing to the holistic development of the North Central Nigerian region. The paper further identifies and analyzes challenges that must be addressed to harness communication's full potential for creativity in the area, encompassing factors such as limited access to communication technologies, deficiencies in skills and training, and cultural barriers. In conclusion, the paper advocates for immediate action to confront these challenges and to fully leverage communication's power for driving creativity in North Central Nigeria. Suggested actions encompass widening access to communication technologies, facilitating skill development through training, and tackling cultural impediments.
