WEB INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR STUDENTS OF ABIA STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (TECHNICAL), AROCHUKWU

Abstract


This paper presents the procedure for the development and evaluation of a web information management system for students of Abia State College of Education (Technical) Arochukwu.. The developmental procedure begins with the conduction of literature review using both print and online resources. This followed by interviewing both students and staff on the requirements of the system to be developed. The compiled requirements and the results of the literature review were then used for the development of the new system. The developed system was then handed over to students for testing and evaluation. The students tested the system and thereafter filled questionnaire designed to measure their satisfaction with the use of the developed system. The result of the data analyzed shows that students were satisfied with the performance of the new system. Furthermore, students recommended the use of the new developed system  in the College.
